The movement to make same-sex marriages legal across the nation has been a big fight the past few years. After much debate we are one step closer to a more equal United States. The Supreme Court has announced that it will rule whether same-sex couples can legally marry nationwide under the Constitution this summer.
According to the report, the justices will hear any arguments in April. After it is all complete they will rule on whether it will be legal for those of the same sex to marry in any state in the United States.
There are now 14 states where same-sex marriage is currently not yet legal in the United States, with Florida being the most recent to make it legel. A final decision is expected by June.
